Comfortable and clean. Pleasant recent decoration (you can't go wrong with ikea). Good security. Well-equipped. Comfy beds and bedding. Lovely rooftop terrace in an area you couldn't expect any sort of garden. Location excellent - train station within 2 minutes walk got us everywhere we needed to get to. Very convenient carpark around the corner where we were able to leave our car securely for 3 days with very friendly and helpful staff.
The previous visitors had not washed the cutlery or crockery properly. I had to wash it all before we could use it.
Great location, lovely appartment and very good value.
Kitchen not particularly well equiped for cooking but then don't expect to do much of that when away for a weekend in London!
Location, value for money, nice and quiet room
The room had no closet, only a few hooks on the back of the main door. The main bed is a queen bed but the sofa bed is small. If you are 3 people (as we were) the apartment is ok, but if you are 4 it could be unconfortable
Excellent location and a good size.
Bed a bit small for 2 and a bit hard
The appartment was nice and comfortable. It was fully equipped as promised. It was very easy to get to central of London. At about 2 minutes walk there is an overground station or buses, and after one station you can use the underground to go anywhere. It took us 10 to 15 minutes max to get to central London. Everything is reachable in a few minutes walk (restaurants, take-away, supermarket).
My suggestion is to put a darker courtains if someone wants to sleep late ,and to add another closet since we were family of 5 and one closet was not enough.
Nice design, good kitchen, nice bathroom
Unexpected extra 3% charge for use of credit card from another country.
The terrace was a great hit with us.
It is in a busy street and the noise from the clubs (upto 3 am in the morning) was a drawback.
Very clean and all new
Sofa bed for two children was really quite small - we had one who is 20 and one who is 14, so it was a bit of a squash for them.
the location, the terrace, the helpfulness of the staff, the fans (it was hot!), the comfort of the apartment
The bathroom wasn't up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment, but was fine
Good location, nice roof terrace.
Apartment is small - one big room with no bedroom. Beds are small. OK for one couple. Expensive for what offeres.
We liked the diversity of the area and the good location and easy access into London. The area is vibrant and interesting. The apartment looked very well presented and well equipped.
On first impression the apartment looked clean and tidy but we soon realised it was pretty grubby, the floors were filthy, my feet have never been so dirty! The bath was slimy especially under the 'slip' mat and two of us actually slipped and hurt ourselves! The two front rooms definitely need black out blinds, can't understand why they haven't got them this should be a very basic requirement for this busy area. The bed settee was made of faux leather and no mattress protector was provided to make the bed suitable to actually sleep on, my son got very sweaty and as a result slept really badly. I was rather annoyed that a surcharge was added if payment was made by credit card, this should have been mentioned beforehand. Such a shame there were these issues, if they were addressed it would be a great place to stay!
Handy for Tube (Overground), only a short walk away from Shoreditch High Street Station. Further away was Liverpool Street which gave us better access to the Olympic Park and the rest of London. Some good views of the City. Quite a happening nightlife was apparent in the street below. The bed was comfortable.
We stayed in the Penthouse and it was very warm - could do with a fan? No wardrobe or device for hanging clothes. It was very expensive - Olympic prices?
Good location with quite a bit to do around the apartment complex.
We were there on opening night of the Olympics and people across the street had a party that was very wild and loud and went on until 3:00 in the morning. Essentially no sleep on night one. Too hot to have all the windows closed and too loud to keep them open.
Very convenient for Brick Lane & Shoreditch High St overground station. Plenty of things to do/see within walking distance. Apartment was modern, clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi was useful.
Area is noisy/vibrant, however this is not a criticism as its what you would expect in a busy city.
Excellent value, clean comfortable apartment.
I would recommend black out blinds in the living room for the guests sleeping on the sofa bed - and also thicker double glazing! Shoreditch can be fairly noisy!
